Midnapore Elementary

St. Teresa of Calcutta School
Formerly known as Blessed Mother Teresa School, is a French Immersion Catholic elementary school located at 121 Midlake Boulevard SE in Calgary’s Midnapore community. Serving approximately 300 students from Kindergarten through Grade 6, the school fosters a strong sense of family and community, emphasizing Catholic values and faith-based education. All subjects are taught in French, except for Religion and English Language Arts, providing students with a comprehensive bilingual education. Upon completion of Grade 6, students typically continue their French Immersion studies at École St. Matthew for junior high and Bishop Grandin for high school.

A second private educational institution offering programs from Kindergarten through Grade 9. Established in 1993 by a group of Christian families, the school provides an interdenominational Christian education, emphasizing a biblical worldview across all subjects. In 1996, to accommodate growing enrollment, the school purchased and renovated its current facility in Midnapore. The campus features modern classrooms, a gymnasium, and specialized spaces designed to support a comprehensive educational experience.
